Introduction

This document describes how to install and get started with Instant Link to Hot Keywords Module. With Instant Search Link for Hot Keywords, admin can configure the hot keywords for global or category level, allows user to direct access to the recommended products by simply click the keyword link.

Installation

What other software must be installed first?

Before you can install this product, you must obtain access to a web server with the following:

PHP 4.x with :

GD Library
mCrypt
Register Globals set to On via httpd.conf, php.ini or .htaccess

The Apache Webserver
MySQL database
The Linux / Unix Operating System
CRE Loaded 6.2

How do I install CRE Loaded : Instant Link to Hot Keywords Module?

Please follow these steps:

Upload the files to your catalog directory on the webserver.

Open admin/includes/languages/english.php file, before

Go to admin panel, find "Catalog" --> "Hot Keywords", and then you can set your key words there.(Note: use ',' symbol to separate multi-keywords.)

How can I uninstall CRE Loaded : Instant Link to Hot Keywords Module?

1. Run SQL statement in phpMyAdmin:
ALTER TABLE `categories_description` DROP `hot_keywords`; DELETE FROM `configuration` WHERE `configuration`.`configuration_key` = 'MODULE_HOTKEYWORDS_LEVEL' LIMIT 1; DELETE FROM `configuration` WHERE `configuration`.`configuration_key` = 'MODULE_HOTKEYWORDS_MANUAL_KEYWORDS_1' LIMIT 1; DELETE FROM `configuration` WHERE `configuration`.`configuration_key` = 'MODULE_HOTKEYWORDS_MANUAL_KEYWORDS_2' LIMIT 1; DELETE FROM `configuration` WHERE `configuration`.`configuration_key` = 'MODULE_HOTKEYWORDS_MANUAL_KEYWORDS_3' LIMIT 1; DELETE FROM `configuration` WHERE `configuration`.`configuration_key` = 'MODULE_HOTKEYWORDS_MANUAL_KEYWORDS_4' LIMIT 1;

2. Delete all files that you added

3. Change all modified files back.
