Introduction

This document describes how to install and get started with Recently Viewed Products Module. This module list products that you recently viewed.

Features of the Recently Viewed Products module:

• Show products that recently viewed
• When accessed product info page, system record the history orderly
• Save data into local cookie
• Can empty the list without refresh the whole page
• Fully integrated with CRE Loade, easy to install

Installation

What other software must be installed first?

Before you can install this product, you must obtain access to a web server with the following:

• PHP 4.x with :
• GD Library
• mCrypt
• Register Globals set to On via httpd.conf, php.ini or .htaccess
• The Apache Webserver
• MySQL database
• The Linux / Unix Operating System
• CRE Loaded 6.2

How do I install CRE Loaded : Recently Viewed Products Module?

Please follow these steps:

1. Upload the files to your catalog directory on the webserver.


2. At admin control panel, go to "Design Controls" -> Infobox -> Infobox Configure, click "install" button at the right bottomn of this page.
   Then fill the input fields as fallow:
   a. select "recently_viewed.php" at the "Filename" dropdown list box.
   b. "The infoBox heading" --> "Recently Viewed".
   c. "Define key" --> "BOX_HEADING_RECENTLY_VIEWED".
   d. "Set this box Active?" --> "yes".
   e. "Header Font Color" --> "#FFFFFF".
   And then click "install" button.


3. Open includes/languages/english.php file, before last
   ?>
   add
   define('TEXT_NO_ITEMS_VIEWED', 'No Items Viewed');
   

How can I uninstall CRE Loaded : Recently Viewed Products Module?

    At admin control panel, go to "Design Controls" -> Infobox -> Infobox Configure, choose "Recently Viewed Products" item and then click "remove" button at the right bottomn of this page.

    Delete all files that you added
