SNAP enables online merchants to increase sales by attracting cash customers who cannot obtain credit card or debit card, or prefer to pay by cash online. SNAP is a prepaid card that is re-loadable and secured by a customer PIN, providing an online shopping payment method for everyone. SNAP cards are available for free and customers can top-up their cards at thousands of locations in the UK and then use it to go shopping online or transfer money to family and friends. TeleGlobal Ltd is certified by the Financial Services Authority of the United Kingdom. ================== Module Description ================== This module allows osCommerce Online Merchant v2.2 to accept SNAP as a payment method. The SNAP Card Payment Module enables SNAP payments in the osCommerce Online Merchant checkout. SNAP payments are made through securely hosted pages that are provide via the SNAP Direct Payment Gateway, known as "SNAP Direct". "SNAP Direct" delivers a simple yet secure set of payment pages hosted on the SNAP Servers, that handle all of the SNAP payment processing on the merchant's behalf. To use the SNAP Card Payment Module for osCommerce, a merchant needs to: 1. Download "SNAP Card v2.0" from the following location in osCommerce site: http://addons.oscommerce.com/ (Search on "SNAP Card") 2. Submit a Merchant Application Form at: http://www.snapcard.com/en_gb/partners/merchants.html 3. Receive your Merchant Identifiers, Account and Credentials from the SNAP Team 4. Follow the installation instructions in the "install.txt" file SNAP currently supports the following currencies: GBP - Great Britain Pound ZAR - South African Rand Note: The SNAP Card Payment Module is currently configured to allow a merchant to trade only in one currency (default is GBP).
